HARNEY COUNTY-Harney County Sheriff’s Office issues a Public Safety Notice for the Nature Trail. With the deer population in town, and especially for those who walk the nature trail, it’s a good idea to be a little more vigilant, steer clear of deer, and keep your dogs near you and on a leash.
It’s the time of year for deer rutting which causes bucks to behave more aggressively and one such buck with a limp was hanging around the end of the nature trail. The Harney County Sheriff’s Office wants everyone to be safe.
