Harney County resident is facing a hefty fine after being convicted of multiple traffic violations

BURNS-A local resident is facing a hefty fine after being convicted of multiple traffic violations in Harney County Circuit Court following an incident earlier this month.
According to court documents, a general judgment was entered against David Allen Miller, 35, of Burns, stemming from a traffic stop on June 22, 2026.
The judgment, handed down by the Harney County Circuit Court, found Miller guilty of four separate traffic offenses committed near the intersection of Hays and S. Egan avenues.
The Charges and Convictions
Court records indicate that Miller was cited for a cluster of moving and administrative violations, including:
- Violating a Speed Limit (Class D Violation): Miller was clocked driving 39 mph in a 25 mph zone. The incident did not occur in a school zone.
- Failure to Obey a Traffic Control Device (Class B Violation)
- Driving Uninsured (Class B Violation)
- Operating a Vehicle Without Driving Privileges (Class B Violation)
Fines and Judgment
The court has assessed a total fine of $470.00 against Miller.
