Harney County resident held in contempt of court

Harney County-According to Harney County circuit Court documents, Larry Northey of Burns, was found guilty for Resisting Arrest, committed on or about August 20, 2021. The conviction was based upon a Jury Verdict of Guilty. Northey was placed on Bench Probation for a period of 18 months. Northey was also convicted of Pointing a Firearm at Another, committed on or about July 15, 2021. The conviction was based upon a Jury Verdict of Guilty and was placed on Bench Probation for a period of 18 months. During this court hearing Northey was found in contemped of court and was sentenced to 5 days in the Harney County Jail.
