Harney County Clerk goes to Legislature

Harney County-Yesterday, Oregon Secretary of State LaVonne Griffin-Valade shared a study with the Legislature, conducted by the Elections & Voting Information Center (EVIC) and commissioned by Oregon Elections. This study found that Oregon County Clerks (one County Clerk being Harney County’s Darrin (Dag) Robinson) are facing challenges in staffing, retention, and recruitment in the midst of a toxic political environment.
