PENDLETON – The Pendleton Round-Up and Happy Canyon Hall of Fame inducted this year’s class at a dinner last night (Sunday) at the Pendleton Convention Center. There are four new members of the Hall of Fame.

The 2021 inductees are saddle-bronc rider Butch Knowles; long-time Round-Up volunteer Jack Shaw; the late Mary Hines who attended her first Round-Up in 1911 as an infant and didn’t miss another one until her passing in 1989; and Badger, a quarter horse owned by Cydney Curtis and the late Heather Corey who has carried royalty, presidents, directors, and Hall of Fame inductees in parades, grand entries, and tryouts for many years.

Today at the Round-Up, the 32nd annual Round-Up Foundation Memorial Golf Tournament tees off at 9:30 a.m. today (Monday) at the Golf Course at Birch Creek. Also this morning, timed-event slack is run in the Round-Up Arena, with admission at $5. Tonight, the PRCA Xtreme Bulls Finale sponsored by Banner Bank has its first night of action in the Happy Canyon Arena.

Tickets for all events are available online and at the ticket booth at the Round-Up Grounds.
