GSD#3 prepares for the first day of school, Aug. 26th

JOHN DAY – Grant School District #3 will begin school on August 26th. Grant Union Jr./Sr. High School Principal Justin Lieuallen was on Coffee time, and said before the first day, a fun event is planned at Grant Union:
“Prior to the start of the schoolyear, this August 21st, we have our ‘welcome back barbecue’ in the GU parking lot at 6 p.m. Everybody is welcome to come.”
GSD#3 Elementary Principal Janine Attlesperger also shared some positive news in preparation for the schoolyear:
“At the elementary level, the district has purchased all school supplies for students this year. The only thing[s] families need to provide for their students are a backpack, P.E. shoes, and if wanted, a water bottle.”
