GSD#3 is looking for families to host exchange students

JOHN DAY – Grant School District #3 Superintendent Mark Witty was on KJDY’s Coffee Time Tuesday, speaking on the district’s International Student Exchange Program.
Mr. Witty said the schools within the district are currently in need of host families:
“We’d love to get 5-or-6-or-7 families lined up and ready to go…
For us locally and our local student body, it sure does add a lot of good spirit, essentially, to the school. It’s just wonderful to have their perspective in our classrooms.”
