Grossman Fire- 18 miles NE of Elgin

ELGIN – Crews are working on the Grossman Fire burning 4 miles west of Promise Oregon and 18 miles northeast of Elgin. The fire was reported last night around 5:00pm and is currently at 153 acres in size.
According to officials with ODF, there was minimal fire behavior through the night and lines held overnight.
Resources on scene include ODF Strike Team engines, 7 other agency engines, 2 dozers, 3 crews
Last night aerial resources included Air Attack,1 lead plane, 2 SEATS (single engine air tankers0, 2 Heavy Air tankers, 1 Heavy Helicopter, 1 medium helicopter.
