Grant Union High School to hold special Veterans Breakfast and Assembly

JOHN DAY – Grant Union High School will once again be showing their appreciation of our local military veterans. All Student Body President Taylor Gosnell was on KJDY’s Coffee Time recently to share their plans for commemoration:
“The Veterans Day Assembly—that will be November 10th. We are going to be having a breakfast for all veterans who are willing to attend, from 8:15 until 9, because then the assembly will start at 9 a.m.”
He mentioned that students who invite veteran family members will be excused from their 8:15 class to eat with their family members. Gosnell took part in the veterans’ breakfast and assembly last year as well, and is glad they are able to show their appreciation:
“It’s a blessing being able to keep that going and really show much we appreciate these veterans.”
Again, that’ll be Monday, November 10th, at Grant Union High School.
