Grant Union FFA plans to judge at State Convention

JOHN DAY – This week is National Ag Week. The Oregon FFA State Convention will be held March 21st through the 24th at the Deschutes Fair & Expo Center in Redmond.
Grant Union FFA Advisor Kailee Oliver on Coffee Time earlier in the winter, said her students will get a good taste of what’s out there:
“I’m going to make all the kids that go judge proficiency applications, just to see what students do around the state with their own projects. [They can] see that they can basically do anything they want to in agriculture, and there’s some sort of award or some area to be involved in it.”
