Grant School District 3 plans community cleanup day

JOHN DAY – Folks with Grant School District #3 have organized a cleanup day for the 7^th Street Sports Complex in John Day. The district is asking community members to join them on August 5^th at 6 p.m. for a cleanup evening that focuses on weeds and trash in the 7^th Street Complex. Attention will be placed near the ball fields and walking path.

A few tools along with trash bags will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own tools if they’d prefer. Anyone with questions can call Superintendent Mark Witty at 541-575-1280, or John Day Canyon City Parks & Rec at 541-575-0110.
