Grant School Dist. 3 is working on their strategic plan

JOHN DAY – Grant School District #3 is undergoing the process of updating their strategic plan. Strategic Planning Committee Members Pat Holliday and Levi Manitsas were recently in the KJDY and News102 Newsroom to discuss that process. Manitsas said identifying foundational values is a big part of it:
“We want to send out good students everywhere, and so the idea is, no matter where they go to college, they are a product of Grant County. We want to identify values, and we want those kids to leave here with those as lifelong values they have in their life. We have such a short span, really, to do it.”
The committee assigned to the strategic planning process consists of 15 members, including GSD3 staff, students, and folks from the community.
