Grant County youth rake in over $535K in 2024 livestock auction

JOHN DAY – Grant County Youth Livestock Auction Secretary Shannon Springer was in KJDY and News102 Studios on Tuesday to update listeners on the results from the livestock auction held on August 10th. She said over a half-million dollars was generated for the youth in Grant County:
“This year, the total amount raised by the auction was $535,906.”
Springer said there were a total of 169 animals that went through the auction ring this year. Listen to the full podcast below:
