JOHN DAY – Yesterday, Governor Brown announced updates to county risk levels under the state’s COVID-19 public health framework. Grant County will move to Moderate Risk beginning this Friday. In a nutshell, Moderate Risk calls for an 11 p.m. closing time at eating and drinking establishments along with an adjusted seating capacity; faith institutions and funeral homes can operate at 50% occupancy; and employers are encouraged to recommend remote work for office employees if they’re able.
