Grant County Sheriff’s Office conducted multiple arrests over the weekend

GRANT COUNTY – The Grant County Sheriff’s Office conducted multiple arrests over the holiday weekend. The below information is derived from press logs issued to Elkhorn Media Group from Grant County Emergency Communications:

MONDAY:

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a dispute yesterday afternoon at a location at 677 W Main in John Day. As a result, Michael Walker, 67, of John Day was arrested for Menacing and Disorderly Conduct. Nothing further was released regarding the arrest.

SUNDAY:

On Sunday night, at approximately 9:49 p.m., police responded to a location at 677 W Main St. in John Day. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office arrested Drew Isaac Box, 33, of John Day on a Harassment charge. Nothing further was released from Grant County Emergency Communications.  

FRIDAY:

On Friday, December 29th, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a location at Canyon Creek Apartments, on SW 1st Avenue in John Day. As a result, Chris Boyer, 34, of John Day was arrested on a Grant County warrant . No further details were released.

Friday afternoon, Grant County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a restaurant in Canyon City and arrested Benjamin Keith, 43, of Pendleton on a warrant.

Later, around 10:33 p.m. on Friday night, Grant County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jeremy Merrill Lambeth, 51, of John Day on a Grant County warrant.
