Grant County Sheriff suggests residents fuel up and have provisions in place ahead of Thursday’s storm

CANYON CITY – (Press Release from Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley)

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of a potential weather event to occur on the afternoon of May 28th, today. 

Reported chances of high winds, large hail, heavy rains, and some alleged potential for tornado activity. 

Prior to the storm arriving, we would recommend you have fuel for your primary vehicle and generators and chainsaws. Having some water and non-perishable food on hand would be wise.
