Grant County Jail time for multiple violations

JOHN DAY – A man will spend more time in jail on multiple probation violations, according to documents from Grant County Circuit Court.

Kristopher M. Goodwin was found to be in violation of his probation on six separate counts, including failure to engage in treatment; use of intoxicants; failure to engage in/complete MRT; failure to make restitution payments; failure to engage in CSW; and possession of a restricted weapon. As a result, Goodwin was sentenced to 15 days in jail. That hearing date was August 1st.

On August 6th at approximately 9:23 p.m., Goodwin was arrested at a fast-food restaurant in downtown John Day by Grant County Sheriff’s Office personnel for Disorderly Conduct. Nothing further was released regarding the arrest.
