Grant County Fairgrounds to support firefighters; closes for public use

JOHN DAY – The Grant County Fairgrounds will be closed to the public beginning Sunday, September 7th, to accommodate firefighting personnel. A release from Grant County Fairgrounds Manager Mindy Winegar states that the indoor and outdoor arenas, Trowbridge Pavilion, the walking trails, and dry camping area will all be prohibited to the public beginning September 7th until the closure is rescinded. RV customers who have sites reserved will still have access to their reserved spaces.
