Grant County Fairgrounds seeks volunteers

JOHN DAY – The Grant County Fairgrounds has a community work day planned for Wednesday, August 3rd to prepare the grounds for the 113th Grant County Fair. Grant County Fairgrounds Manager Mindy Winegar put out the call for volunteers. Work will begin at 6:30 a.m. that day, while it’s still cool. Coffee and donuts will be provided.

Also, the Grant County Fairgrounds has set up a handy online form that folks can click into and schedule the best time for you to volunteer while the rodeo and fair are underway. Volunteer opportunities run from August 5th through the 13th.
