Grant County Emergency Management reminds folks to properly maintain heating devices

JOHN DAY – October is Fire Prevention Month, and Grant County Emergency Management Coordinator Eric Bush was in the studio earlier and reminded listeners of the importance of maintaining your heating devices to prevent house fires:

“It’s getting cold, make sure you do the maintenance on your heating devices in your home. Vacuum out your cadet heaters, pull that maintenance of your kerosene furnace or your diesel furnace or whatever you’re using; and clean your chimneys, please.”
