Grant County Courthouse closed Oct. 20 & 21 for utility upgrades

CANYON CITY – The Grant County Courthouse will be undergoing some building maintenance work early next week. The courthouse will be closed on Monday, October 20^th and Tuesday, October 21^st. The building will be closed to all employees and members of the public during that time. The Grant County Court reports work to the building will include utility upgrades.

Grant County Clerk Laurie Cates stated to our newsroom, “The Clerk’s office will be able to offer e-recording services through Simplifile during this time period, but no other services will be available. Regular office hours will resume on Wednesday, October 22^nd.”
