JOHN DAY – Grant County Economic Development Director Tory Stinnett recently announced the next Grant County Community Action Team meeting will take place this week. Stinnett explains a little about the team:
“The Community Action Team [are] leaders of different cities and county representatives, we have folks of different fields. It brings people together in saying, ‘this is important for economic development.’
It’s a way for me to hear all at once in cross-collaboration for folks to say what’s important for economic development. I can help facilitate that. As a Director, I’m not wanting to pick-and-choose what’s important for our community. I want to hear, and build programming off of that.”
The meeting will be on Thursday, March 3rd at 6pm at the Grant County Regional Airport. Stinnett mentioned it will be a unique opportunity for stakeholders to network and explore opportunities for community, economic, and ecological development.
