CANYON CITY – Grant County Clerk Laurie Cates issued a message for the public Tuesday morning regarding public access to the state’s election results test site. Find the message in full below:

It has been brought to the County Clerk’s attention that the public has been able to access an election results TEST site. The information contained on the site was pre-election testing to ensure the election night reporting website was working correctly. This information was TEST information only, and is not current election information. The Secretary of State’s Office was contacted and has removed public access to the testing website. Actual un-official election results will not be available until 8 pm on May 21st and will be available at results.oregonvotes.gov.
