Grant County CHIC to promote addiction recovery

JOHN DAY – The Grant County Community Health Improvement Coalition is holding a Story Time, Celebrating Recovery event on February 24th. Coalition Board Member Mike McManus explains:
“We currently have five speakers lined up to talk about addiction recovery. They’re all awesome speakers and they all have awesome stories of resilience. We have one speaker talking about mental health—their mental health struggles and their resilience as well.”
It’ll be Friday, February 24th at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church. It’s free to the community. Also, daycare will be provided. Folks are asked to call ahead if you plan on bringing children, so Grant County CHIP can ensure there are enough sitters.
