GRANT COUNTY – Wednesday saw a handful of motor vehicle crashes, slide-offs, and mishaps due to the slick and snowy conditions. Beginning in the 5 a.m. hour yesterday, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office began assisting the public with vehicles stuck in the snow.
Multiple semi-trucks slid off the roadway in several locations on U.S. Highways 395 B and C, causing traffic delays. A total of 14 calls came into Grant County Emergency Management regarding vehicle accidents. No injuries were reported. Use caution on the highways and stay tuned for updates.
