JOHN DAY – Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley was in the studio yesterday and reflected on the calls to service over last year for our local first responders, and the call volume last month alone for the Sheriffโs Office:
โThe county, all told, I think the call volume was about 7,460 calls in the county. Those are calls for service. [That] is total, not just what we responded to, but thatโs ambulance, fire, all of those. For us, a typical monthโso, the month of Decemberโjust the Sheriffโs Office responded to 398 calls.โ
