Grandstand renovations ongoing at Walla Walla County Fairgrounds

WALLA WALLA – Guests to this year’s Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days will notice the area under the grandstand will look different this year. It will include the addition of a luxury mobile restroom and other temporary restroom units. This is due to ongoing renovations to the grandstand, which was built in 1956.
In order to make critical fixes to the 68-year-old structure’s steel braces, which are located under the grandstand, the temporary removal of the restrooms and concession stand were required.
There will be more renovations made to the grandstand in the near future, but the one of the earliest renovations will be the replacement of the restrooms.
The 2024 Walla Walla Fair and Frontier Days runs Wednesday through Sunday.
