UPDATE: GOP gubernatorial forum is cancelled

UPDATE: This event has been cancelled due to weather issues. It will be rescheduled at a future date.

UMATILLA COUNTY – The Umatilla County Republican Party is hosting a meet-the-candidates forum for the Republicans who have registered to run for governor. It will be at 6 p.m. Monday at the Pendleton Convention Center.

Bridget Barton, Nick Hess, Kerry McQuisten, and Brandon Merritt have confirmed they will attend. There are a total of 13 GOP candidates running for governor of Oregon. The others, who had not yet responded or are unable to attend are David Burch, Jessica Gomez, Jim Huggins, Alexander M. Males III, Bud Pierce, Stan Pulliam, Amber R. Richardson, Stefan G. Strek, and Marc Thielman.

The public is welcome to attend the forum. Light refreshments will be served.
