WALLA WALLA – Skyler Ian Glasby, 35, of Walla Walla has told the court he wants to represent himself in the latest case against him, which includes charges of theft of a motor vehicle and third-degree theft. Walla Walla County Prosecuting Attorney Gabe Acosta said the court needs to have a lengthy discussion with Glasby for that to happen.

Glasby was originally scheduled to be arraigned on those charges Monday, but his arraignment was continued until this coming Friday.

Acosta said the latest case involves Glasby allegedly stealing a vehicle on Oct. 25, 2023, from Walla Walla, and being arrested the next day in Umatilla County.

If his name sounds familiar, Glasby has a lengthy criminal history in both Umatilla and Walla Walla counties.
