WALLA WALLA – Skyler Glasby of Walla Walla was convicted Friday following a bench trial for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, third-degree theft and second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission. This case involves Glasby stealing a vehicle last October in Walla Walla and being arrested the next day in Umatilla County.

Walla Walla County Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney April King said Glasby faces a prison term of at least 17 to 22 months as well as having his drug offender sentence alternative in a separate case revoked.

A violation hearing for the drug offender sentence alternative is set for June 24 and sentencing in the stolen vehicle case is set for July 8.

Glasby has a lengthy criminal history in both Umatilla and Walla Walla Counties.
