GRANT COUNTY – Beginning Saturday, March 12th, COVID-19 restrictions—including required masking, will be lifted in Oregon. Grant County Public Health Administrator Kimberly Linsey said masks will still be required in our local health care facilities like the Grant County Health Department, Community Counseling Solutions, Blue Mt. Hospital, Strawberry Wilderness Clinic, Canyon Creek Clinic as well as any long-term care facilities.
Lindsey also mentioned changes down the line to contact tracing:
“The other big thing is around contact tracing and case investigations. Also at midnight this Friday, we will no longer be doing case investigations or contact tracing for people who are positive for COVID.”
Lindsey also stressed the importance of good hand hygiene and staying home when you feel ill. Call the health department at 575-0429.
