MORROW COUNTY – Marco Antonio Garcia, 37, of Boardman was arraigned Monday in Morrow County Circuit Court on a several charges. District Attorney Justin Nelson said that surveillance cameras at Easterday Farms picked up suspicious activity, so the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office went to the scene.

The suspect took off and was pursued by the Morrow County Sheriff’s Office both by vehicle and on foot until he was taken into custody. That wasn’t Garcia’s only problem.

They include aggravated theft (theft of a bicycle), second-degree burglary, attempt to elude/flee, unauthorized use of a vehicle, and possession of a stolen vehicle (all of which are felonies). There are also misdemeanor charges against him.

Garcia’s bail has been set at $180,000.
