JOHN DAY – South Fork John Day River Watershed Council Executive Director Amy Stiner was in the studio last week explaining a grant recently received by the organization to support local landowners through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program:
“One-point-seven million dollars that we can allocate to private lands in our watershed, for practices like juniper removal, spring developments, pasture fencing, re-seeding, weed control—things like that.”
