Frito-Lay to open distribution warehouse in Walla Walla

WALLA WALLA – Construction of a new Frito-Lay distribution has begun off the 1300 block of Poplar Street in Walla Walla.
The Port of Walla Walla sold the 12.5-acre site to Crosland Barnes Group, a South Carolina-based real estate firm, for $576,000.
Nelson Construction of Walla Walla was awarded the project to build the 5,300 square foot facility. Once operational, the warehouse will create six to 10 new jobs.
