JORDAN VALLEY – Friends of the Owyhee will be hosting highway cleanup efforts this Saturday. For their monthly “Stewardship Saturday” volunteer work, FOTO will be meeting at the Oregon-Idaho border to pick up litter on sections of the highway.

Friends of the Owyhee writes, “Please note that all participants for this cleanup need to be over 18 due to proximity to the highway. We’ll go over some safety tips and choose areas to pick up trash beside the road.”

The Friends of the Owyhee Adopt-A-Highway location is at the state line pull-out on U.S. Highway 95. Volunteers will meet beginning at 10:00 a.m. November 1st.
