Free coffee for vets on Vietnam War Veterans Day, Mar. 29th

JOHN DAY – Tuesday, March 29th is National Vietnam War Veterans Memorial Day, and in commemoration of Vietnam-era servicemen and women Grant County Veteran Services Coordinator Kathleen Hoffman said coffee will be free for all veterans at different coffee shops in John Day:
“It’s the 29th and I am paying for coffee at different coffee shops, but it’s open to ALL veterans.
It’s to thank those who fought and to thank those who returned, because when they came back, they were not treated well.”
