ONTARIO – Travel Oregon has named the recipients of its recent Accessible Inclusive Tourism grant effort. In total, 56 projects across Oregon will receive a collective $3.6 million dollars to assist with tourism improvement and promotion as well as public accessibility. Among the recipients is the Four Rivers Cultural Center and Museum located in Ontario. As described by Travel Oregon:
“Four Rivers Cultural Center and Museum received $20,000 to make the Hikaru Mizu Japanese Garden more accessible and inclusive by ensuring the grounds are navigable by wheelchair users and improving the experience of the garden for individuals with sensory disabilities.
