Former Grant County Sheriff takes position as Sherman County Marine Deputy

MORO, OR – Grant County folks who fish or recreate on the waters of Sherman County may see a familiar face this summer. Former Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer has recently accepted a position with the Sherman County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials at the Sherman County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Palmer took a seasonal, part-time position as a marine deputy. He’ll be working weekends for the department. Several rivers and waterways are connected to and flow through Sherman County, including the John Day, Deschutes and Columbia Rivers.
