Also, NOAA Boise Hydrologic Outlook: WARMING TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT IN INCREASED SNOW MELT AND SIGNIFICANT RIVER, STREAM AND CREEK RISE

Temperatures will warm significantly over the next several days and snow melt to the existing snowpack will increase. This will cause increased flows and significant rises on area rivers, streams and creeks over the next several days. Low lying or poor drainage areas with existing snowpack could see minor sheet flooding over the next week.

Some rivers, streams, and creeks could approach bank full as a result of this weather pattern but no flooding is expected at this time.

Clear snow, ice and debris from culverts and other flow paths to allow runoff to flow away from buildings and other vulnerable infrastructure. Move deep snow away from the foundations of buildings and move equipment, and livestock out of poorly drained or low lying areas.
