Flood Warning through Wednesday for Malheur County

MALHEUR COUNTY — Malheur County isn’t out of the water yet. The National Weather Service has issued another Flood Warning, lasting through Wednesday morning at last update. The agency reports that “Increased flow from Bully Creek, Agency Valley and Warm Springs Reservoirs along with additional low elevation snowmelt is resulting in minor flooding along the Malheur River around Vale, Oregon.”

  Malheur River Near Vale affecting Malheur County.

.Snow melt and increased reservoir releases are keeping river flows

elevated. Expect minor flooding downstream from the reservoirs.

For the Malheur River…including Vale…Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood

deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

    feet.

  – Forecast…The river will remain in minor flood stage through
