First baby of 2022 born this week at Saint Alphonsus in Baker City

BAKER CITY – (Release from Saint Alphonsus) They say good things come to those who wait, and the first baby born at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center – Baker City in 2022 waited a bit into the new year before arriving.   

Dominic James Buddy Hillman was born on January 10th at 7:42 pm weighing 8 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring 21 inches. He was born to Dustin and Natawani Hillman and is also welcomed by brother Mason and sister Arorah. Both mother and baby are doing well.  

To commemorate the hospital’s first baby of 2022, Saint Alphonsus presented Natawani, Dustin and Domonic with a gift basket containing a host of newborn necessities, including:

  • A little Alphonso Bear wearing an “I’m a Saint Al’s kid” shirt
  • Cozy baby blanket
  • Teething rings
  • Diapers
  • Wipes
  • Musical animal rattle
  • Onesies
  • Gender neutral outfit
