Firefighters taking part in Task Performances

BAKER CITY – Firefighters with Baker City Fire and Rescue (BCFD) this week are completed the first week of Task Performances. According to BCFD, “each member with a Oregon Firefighter 1 certification must demonstrate proficiencies at their skills or complete 60 hours of recert training per year.”
BCFD notes that members complete enough training during the recert period but completing the task performances also helps the training division identify any needs.
