Firefighters extinguish vehicle fire

MILTON-FREEWATER – Firefighters responded early Friday morning to a vehicle fire on the 600 block of North Russell Street in Milton-Freewater.
Crews from the city of Milton-Freewater Fire Department, plus Milton-Freewater Rural Fire and EMS responded just after 4 a.m.
MFFD Chief Shane Garner said one vehicle was completely destroyed and another sustained minor damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
