Firefighters control Harney County’s Jackpot Fire at .28 acres

CRANE – Crews managed to stop a wildfire at around a third of an acre in Harney County. Firefighting resources responded to an area near Tin Can Spring, northeast of Crane, for a small wildfire start on Tuesday. Luckily, the Jackpot Fire only grew to about .28 acres before crews had it under control, according to WildCAD.

The fire was called in on August 19th at 3:41 p.m.
