Firefighters contain two fires under an acre

GRANT COUNTY – A couple of local wildfires were brought under control over the weekend, according to wildcad.net.

Resources responded to the Blue Ridge Fire yesterday, north of Izee. The wildfire grew to just under a half an acre before crews were able to get it 100% lined.

On Friday, firefighters responded to the Roundtop Fire, south of Magone Lake. That one is listed as controlled at .6 acres. Stay tuned for local wildfire updates.
