Firefighters contain brush fire near Milton-Freewater Golf Course

MILTON-FREEWATER – Firefighters contained a small brush fire Sunday night which burned on the hill above the Milton-Freewater Golf Course.

Crews were dispatched at 10:25 p.m. to the 200 block of Dehaven Street.

Milton-Freewater Fire Chief Shane Garner said no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.

Units from Milton-Freewater Fire and EMS also responded.
