Firearms recovered in Prairie City burglaries

PRAIRIE CITY – Grant County Sheriff Todd McKinley reminds folks to lock their vehicles and residences in the wake of a few burglaries in the Prairie City area last month. Sheriff McKinley gave Coffee Time listeners last Thursday a brief update on those crimes:
“I can talk about it a little bit. There were multiple car prowls up there in Prairie…I’ll just say we’ve recovered the firearms that were taken. Those have been recovered, we have them as evidence. The individual [has been] identified, we’re working on that the rest of the way. Just making sure we have all of our i’s dotted and t’s crossed on all of it.”
