Fire under investigation in the Catherine Creek area

LA GRANDE – With dry conditions and much-needed moisture, the Oregon State Forestry is advising people to be cautious in the forest. Sunday afternoon ODF and the Forest Service were called out to a wildland fire in the Catherine Creek area. The fire was under 5-acres. According to the Blue Mt Interagency Dispatch La Grande said the fire is under investigation. Oregon State Forestry and U.S. Forestry sent out crews to extinguish the fire.
