Fire training exercise happening in Harney County

Harney County- Today, Burns Interagency Fire Zone will be conducting a live fire training exercise as part of Guard School (new firefighter training). Ignitions are planned on portions of the Silvies 7 prescribed fire unit near forest roads 31, 3110 and 3120.
As always, avoid the area if possible. There will be increased fire traffic and visibility may be limited due to smoke. To report wildfires call 541.573.1000
