Fire north of Prairie City grew to just 1/2 acre

PRAIRIE CITY – Malheur National Forest firefighting crews responded to a small fire yesterday north of Dixie Butte. The Little Butte wildfire reportedly grew to a half an acre in size, according to Wildcad.net. Resources were on scene shortly after the fire was reported near 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
Nothing further on the Little Butte fire was listed.
